Roll
Five minutes before the hour, the die is rolled live to decide the next loop distance.
May 15, 2027 • Hatbox Sports Complex • Muskogee, Oklahoma
A gritty endurance race where every hour starts with a roll of the die. The distance changes. The clock does not. Be the last runner left standing.
One hour. One roll. No excuses.
Five minutes before the hour, the die is rolled live to decide the next loop distance.
Runners head out on a flat paved out-and-back course at Hatbox Sports Complex.
Finish inside the 60-minute cutoff and be back in the corral, or your race is over.
How it works
Early loops give runners a chance to settle in. As the race goes deeper, low rolls start turning into longer miles.
Try the die
Course map
The route starts and finishes at Hatbox Sports Complex. Each die roll sends runners to a different turnaround point on the same paved out-and-back path.
Finisher awards
Every runner receives a solid cedar 3.5" × 3.5" wooden die, laser-engraved on-site with their name and exact mileage before leaving the park.
Whether you make it one yard or outlast the field, you leave with a custom finisher block made for your day.
What to bring
From the race director
Die to Run was created to be different — part backyard ultra, part strategy game, and part mental battle. The format is simple, but the die changes everything.
If you want a race that feels personal, unpredictable, and a little unhinged in the best way, this is it.
